Welcome to the second topic. During this week we'll explore our hometowns, trying to make unique collections that will present them through the Polygons.
Polygons have been contributing to human architecture since the days of the great pyramids. They still form the heart of modern architecture and design. Basic polygons provide the most stable foundations of buildings and are still utilized in modern construction and architecture. Can you find examples of polygons in your town center? What shape are they? Can you measure the circumference and area of the town square by using different methods? Be creative and explain why you chose these specific methods.
Introduce us to some cultural and historical monuments from your town, showing the polygons that can be seen.
Make a Power Point presentation and add it the Wakelet.
If you are registered member, you will get an invitation soon.
